Cotton spandex hand batiked jersey top – a rare find for Osei-Duro! Fitted turtleneck that’s quite stretchy and cozy, and easy to wear on so many occasions.

Julee (short hair) is 5’9″ and wears a size S

Irene (long hair) is 5’9″ and wears a size 2X

– 90% cotton, 10% spandex
– Hand batiked, and hand sewn in Ghana
– Caring for your hand crafted batik garment:
– To wash, turn your garment inside out. Preferably hand wash or machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with similar colors. Use a very mild detergent.
– Hang to dry. The dye will fade over time from exposure to direct sunlight.
– Iron (inside out) on a low heat setting or steam to get rid of wrinkles.
– Think twice before you wash – could you get another wear in before washing? Is it really time?
– If in doubt, dry clean.

Osei-Duro garments are hand dyed and each piece is unique. Please note that print placement and hue may vary. For Indigo pieces, we wash all of our indigo fabrics several times, but please note that our natural indigo pieces will crock. This means for the first few wears you should expect some color loss. This tendency is a sign of authenticity in West Africa, and the blue is considered to have medicinal properties on the skin. If you feel differently, try soaking in vinegar salutation and drying in the sun.
